Leonard Landy, the former “Our Gang” and “Little Rascals” child star, died Wednesday at 84, according to Variety.

Landy was well-known for his freckled face and big ears, appearing in 21 Our Gang comedy shorts as a Little Rascal from 1938 through 1941.

The series of comedy short films about a group of poor neighborhood children and their adventures began in 1922 as a series of silent short films.

In 1980, the actor appeared in an Our Gang reunion sponsored by The Sons of the Desert. His last appearance was a mini-reunion with eight other Our Gang members in 2014.

There are five surviving members of Our Gang, including infamous actor Robert Blake.

Landy is survived by his wife and two children.
